For four consecutive seasons, Cagliari have kicked off their Serie A campaign without a defeat. This time around, they edged past Parma 1-0 in the opening round. However, the Sardinians now face a far more daunting obstacle. Inter have triumphed in nine of their last ten visits to the Unipol Domus, making the islanders' record against the Nerazzurri decidedly one-sided.

Tactical Analysis: Cagliari's Defensive Stance

Cagliari's ceiling remains firmly set on survival in the top flight. That makes the away victory against direct relegation rival Parma especially precious for the Rossoblù.
